He saw I was his patient, clearly out of my mind, and he didn't stop me.
After he put me in the car, he handed me a bottle of water. "Take a sip of this," he said. "It'll help calm you down. We'll be at the clinic soon."
The bottle looked strange, but I figured it was some special mix he prepared for his patients.
I gulped it down.
